Appian Row

AppianRow represents a row returned by an Appian grid. Use it when a business flow needs to work with a particular row and then click the row or access one of its cells.

from robo_appian import AppianRow

Work with a row

row = page.grid("Requests").row(row_number=1)
row.click()

Business row numbers are 1-based: row_number=1 means the first displayed row.

Work with a cell in the row

row = page.grid("Requests").row(row_number=1)
row.cell(column_name="Employee")

Components inside a cell can use the normal component APIs:

row.cell(column_name="Employee").textboxes[0].fill("John").select("John Smith")

API

AppianRow

Represent a semantic row inside an already-resolved Appian grid.

click

click() -> 'AppianRow'

Click this row using its resolved row element.

The row locator is resolved immediately before the click so Appian rerenders do not leave this component holding a stale element.

    *,
    column_name: str | None = None,
    column_number: int | None = None,
    visible: bool | str | None = True,
    exact: bool = True
) -> AppianCell

Return an Appian cell within this row by semantic column name or number.

link(
    *,
    name: str,
    exact: bool = True,
    visible: bool | str | None = True
) -> AppianLink

Return an Appian link scoped to this row.
